Dignity
Every human life has a worth that wealth, health, race or usefulness cannot add to or take away. It is given, not earned.

The common good, built stone by stone.
With sound, the soundtrack Stone by Stone starts playing. You can pause it any time.
Every person is made in the image of God
A nation built for the common good: strong, free and fair, faithful to its roots, kind to the weakest of its people, and open to everyone willing to belong.
Because every person carries the image of God, no one is disposable: not the worker, not the sick, not the disabled, not the child, not the old, and not the stranger at the door.
In its foundations: its view of the person, its moral law, its care for the weak and its hope.
In its government: power comes from the people, answers to the people and can be replaced by them.
Our values are Christian in origin. Our law is equal for all, and every faith, and none, stands equal before it.
What we believe
Christian Democracy grows from the Church's social teaching. We hold its pillars together, because any one of them alone goes wrong.
Every human life has a worth that wealth, health, race or usefulness cannot add to or take away. It is given, not earned.
The conditions that let every person, family and community flourish. Not the good of the majority at the cost of the few: everyone's good, together.
We are responsible for one another. The strong owe the weak, the healthy owe the sick, and each generation owes the next.
What a family or a town can do well, a larger body should not take from it. Higher levels help when lower ones cannot manage alone.
The poor, the sick, the disabled, the elderly and children have the first claim on our care. We ask first what a choice will do to them.
Work is a vocation. Workers have a right to a just wage that can raise a family, safe conditions, rest and a voice. Capital serves work.
The first community, and the first school of love, faith and citizenship. Homes families can afford; time for parents and children.
Property is good and protects freedom, and it carries a social duty. Everyone who owns land, a business or wealth holds it for the common good.
The land, rivers, forests and seas were given to us and are owed to our children. A nation that loves itself keeps its land clean and beautiful.
A right and a duty to take part: to vote, to serve, to speak, to join associations and to share in decisions about our work.
The nation keeps its Christian inheritance, and religious liberty is total. Christ invited people. He never compelled them.
Belonging is a matter of commitment, not blood. Take up the language, the laws and the civic customs, and you are equal in every respect.
How the nation is governed
A strong, unified state that serves the people and answers to them. Authority is central; service is local.
The social market economy
Free enterprise, private property and fair competition create wealth and protect freedom, so we defend them. But a market is a tool, not a master.
No one who works full time lives in poverty. Wages that can raise a family, set together with unions and guilds.
In every large enterprise, workers elect representatives to its board and share in its profits. Cooperation, not class war.
Every trade and profession keeps its standards of skill, trains apprentices and speaks for its members, across the whole nation.
Enterprises exist for the common good. Run them well and be well rewarded; no fortune puts anyone above the law.
Food, medicine, energy, tools and technology made at home, with good jobs in every district. We trade with the world; we don't hand it our survival.
Healthcare for all, a dignified income for the disabled and the elderly, support for carers and family allowances.
Machines and shared knowledge bring within reach a world where everyone has enough. We don't dream of a world without work. We dream of one where no one works merely to survive, so work becomes what it was always meant to be: a vocation, and a gift to others.
Faith and liberty
Our nation's moral law, its calendar, its art, its charity and its idea of the dignity of the person were shaped by Christianity. We honour that inheritance and will not pretend it does not exist. The nation is free to keep its feasts, its customs and its public memory.
Faith that is forced is not faith. Every faith, and none, is free to worship, to teach its children, to build its houses of prayer and to live by its conscience within the law. The state favours no believer over another, and punishes no one for belief or unbelief.
All stand equal before the law, and all are equally citizens.
Free to speak your mind, to worship, to associate, to marry, to raise your family and to live as you choose without harming others. A government that watches its people's homes and thoughts has forgotten whom it serves.
We ask newcomers to learn the language, respect the laws and join the common life, and we owe them real help to do it. Once someone has joined, they are equal in every respect, whatever the colour of their skin or the origins of their ancestors.
The system
An arch is made of many stones, and the keystone at the top holds them all in place. Keystone is a unified network of AI systems built to help hold the common good at the centre: one in every town and district, on the same open code, joined into one national network.
Answers questions honestly, makes the case clearly and invites people to take part.
Connects neighbours who can help each other, welcomes newcomers, teaches and shares knowledge.
What each town and district has and needs, matched fairly. It measures flows, never people.
When someone is in danger or a shortage is spreading, the signal goes straight to those who can act.
A good argument does not need tricks. If our ideas are true, honesty is enough.

What we would do first
Honest answers
No. Christian Democracy grew from Christian teaching, and its view of the person is Christian. But its programme is for everyone, and many people of other faiths, and of none, share its care for dignity, family, work and the common good. Every citizen is equal in law.
Yes, which is why ours is built to be overruled. Elections at every level, recall, appeal, open records, independent courts and free associations are not decorations. They are what make a strong state safe.
Not when subsidiarity governs it. The Nation sets the law, the rights, the standards and the budget. Districts and towns serve their own people in their own way, and every level has its own elected council.
Every nation asks something of those who join it. We ask for the shared language, the laws and the civic customs, and we offer real help to learn them. We never ask anyone to give up their faith or their family's memory, and once they have joined, they are equal in everything.
Because Christ invited and never coerced, and because a faith that needs the state's sword is a weak faith. Religious liberty protects Christians too, wherever they are a minority.
Because ideas spread by being explained, and Keystone can explain them patiently to anyone, at any hour, in their own language. It does it openly, as an AI, with no tricks. If the ideas are good, honesty is enough.
They keep what they fairly earn, they pay their fair share, and they become stewards of what they manage. Nobody stands above the common good.
Not theocracy: the state is not the Church. Not hateful nationalism: we love our nation and respect every other. Not racism: every person bears the image of God. Not socialism: we defend property, enterprise and the family. Not market fundamentalism: a nation is more than an economy. Not authoritarianism: a strong state must answer to the people.
We owe our children a nation worth inheriting: faithful to its roots, free in its private life, just in its economy, open in its technology, careful of its land and kind to the weakest of its people.
